Do you remember that story I told you about Parker getting lost, and me being worried, and then finding him, and me being happy? Do you ever, for a moment, feel like you made a grave mistake in looking so hard for what was lost? Well, I have. And I did, for a moment last night. I'm not really sure how to name what happened. But I do have names for who did it, and most of those names would probably throw up a red flag somewhere for the blogger.com censors. So allow me to test the truth in the old phrase, "a picture is worth a thousand words."

We have a new dryer that USED to be hooked into the wall.
Coffee beans, plants, and hot chocolate licked into the carpet. Don't ask how.
Just how much is that doggy in the window, you ask? You name the price. I might even be willing to sell him to a Vietnamese restaurant. Okay, I'm not really selling him, but threatening makes me feel better.
This pretty much sums it up. At least the new paint on the walls still makes us smile.

Oh MY!!!! I have a dog too, she is 3 now, but puppy days although some are cute others are really bad. I can't believe the messes!!!! I feel for you guys! :)
I bought a babygate online that doesn't screw to the wall it actually has tention rod like things in it so I can change the size. Anyway, it works great to barricade Justice in the kitchen or other rooms to keep her out of trouble. Eventually I opened up one room at a time to her and now I can leave the house any time for many hours and she just takes a nap or roams around. She only gets on the couch when there is a blanket down, at least to my knowlege. :)
To encourage you, it is possible for your dog to learn self-control or at least fear of owner. Many of my tactics don't even involve violence. :)
Hope things get better.
Parker sure is cute.
Hi Carly! And Kyle, whom we haven't met yet!! It's the Anderson's way down south in Florida! We are soo soo loving reading your blog and hearing about your life in Oklahoma and your soon to be life as husband and wife! Oh my goodness..with Parker! She really did all of that? Wow..do you crate Parker? HOw old is she now? We have a new puppy, Poe, but we crate her everyday or our house would probably look the same!
We also have a blog that we JUST started...it is www.andersonhizzie.blogspot.com
Miss you!
Katie
Brother, oh wow. I'm sorry. That's definitely the Lab in him. I tried that a couple of times with Jeb, but to no avail. He is an outside dog now, unless freshly bathed and strictly supervised. It is absolutely amazing how destructive they can be when bored. I have had to have the phone and cable companies out to the house too many times to replace the wiring on the OUTSIDE of the house that was completely pulled away. I regularly find tree limbs the size of telephone poles back there as well. I don't know where he gets them, but if left alone the disappear shortly. I have no idea how! Sorry guys!
